Rain Cloud
|
|
If God made me a rain cloud, id water all your flowers
Never in the day time, just in darkness hours.
Id soak them full of goodness, so they’d all grow and
bloom
Then make way for the sunshine to take away your gloom
If God made me a pillow, I'd lay upon your bed
All fluffed up and comfy for you to lay your head
I'd cosset you and comfort you no matter how you turned
And let you hide your face in me to soak those tears that burn
If God made me a teacup to sit upon your shelf
I hope I’d be your favorite get used by no one else
I’d feel your lips caress me, feel safe held in your grasp
I’d wish my cup was bottomless to make this moment last
Alas God made me none of these he made me as you see
For all my good and bad points im no one else but me
We all have special talents, gifts from the lord above
Mines to bring you happiness, contentment, joy and love
