Jill

It was a Saturday night
She was by herself
Driving back to college
Without a seatbelt

She was thinking about her life
Her heart was tore
Because she didnt get to spend enought time
With her family the night before

She had a great life
School was easy and life was fair
She had lots of friends
And always good memories to share

This was kind of person
Who loved to live
If you needed help on anything
She'd have advice to give

But on this very night
On her way back to C.M.U.
She had to leave this world
She left me and you.

She was thrown from her car
After swerving past a deer
So many people are still in shock
Even though its already been a year

I don't know the pain she felt
But I know her life is not done.
Because she's living in Heaven now
Where for pain, there is none.

Why her? Everyone wonders
She did nothing but good.
They don't know who could replace her
Because no one ever could.

Now that she's gone we know
Its not fair she died too young
What did she do to deserve this?
Her college life had just begun.

Dont be sad that she's gone
In your heart she lives still.
And when your driving, wear your seatbelt,
In memory of Jill.
