A Boston Night in Autumn
|
| |
Foliage--a
Boston night--
Flooding the sprawling lawn,
Foliage--a Boston night,--
Petals, dripping like snow flakes.
Foliage-- a Boston night--
Strolling, a lonely poet,
Foliage-- a Boston night,
He recites his first poem to the breeze.
Foliage-- a Boston night--
The cry of a thisty frog,
Foliage-- a Boston night--
It longs to quench its thirst with rain.
Foliage-- a Boston night--
The fiery sky, an amber flame,
Foliage-- a Boston night--
Illuminating heaven's sea.
Foliage--a Boston night--
Whispering in late october,
Foliage--a Boston night--
Awaits sun rise, an orange tulip, gleaming.
