Father's Day
On this very special day,
I’ll reflect on yester–years,
and recall with mixed emotions,
some of joys and some with tears.
I’ll remember the man who loves me,
with a love that’s so profound.
Steadfast and unconditional,
comparisons cannot be found.
Reflecting on my growing years,
how life was filled with ease.
Fears and doubt were never abound,
and you did this with expertise.
So many things you taught me,
too numerous in wisdom to count.
The value of such a precious gift,
isn’t found in a total amount.
The judgment of your guidance,
steers my faith through any storm.
It gives me strength battle my fears,
to conquer, no matter the form.
So on this very special day,
one thing I would like to add,
to tell you how much I love you,
and thank you for being my Dad.
